Update 3.1.9: Enhanced Portal UI & Improved Appointment Features

Release 3.1.9 ushers in a modernized staff portal UI, improved appointment creation, and comprehensive invoice exports, amongst other useful enhancements.

We're excited to announce the latest release, version 3.1.9 of our software, bringing you a range of new features and bug fixes to optimize your experience.

Important Notice

From this version onwards, the default user interface for staff members will be the new Worker Portal. The existing portal will be phased out completely after the New Year. However, until then, workers can still choose to navigate back to the old portal, if they prefer. We plan to switch all workers to the new portal during December.

New Features

  • Copying Appointments: In the appointment detail and overview table, we've added a "Copy appointment" button. This feature aims to speed up the process of creating new appointments by pre-populating the "Add appointment" form with data from an existing appointment, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

  • Order Number Inclusion: The order number is now included in the shift closing dialogue, calculations, and price quotes for better tracking.

  • Composite Card Enhancements: Composite cards now have new placeholders for worker profile private notes and all system information for better data representation.

  • Email Update: The "Signed up to an appointment" email, sent by the admin, will now include the appointment description. This update, implemented based on user feedback, allows users to understand the appointment without needing to log into the application.

  • Client Profile Order List Improvement: The list of orders within a client profile has been enhanced. It is now sorted from the most recent one, and the columns were unified to match the columns in the order lists in a company profile.

  • New Invoice Export: We've updated the invoice export feature. The same component used for exporting workers is now used for invoice export, enabling you to choose which attributes to export and store multiple export templates. The feature also includes new export attributes - "Left to pay", "Paid deposits", and "Total", for a better overview of pro forma invoices.

Bug Fixes

  • Shift Copying: Copying shifts is now done exclusively via the "Multiple shift copy" dialog, preventing potential issues and confusion. Admins must now choose the date of the new shift(s) from the calendar before copying, ensuring the correct status for the new shift.

  • English Translations: English translations have been improved, with better spelling and minor enhancements.

  • Pricelist Change Logging: We've fixed issues with the date logging of pricelist changes.

  • Attribute Approval: We've resolved the issue with updating the number of attributes to approve after using the "Approve and set expiration date" dialog.

  • Button Display in Emails: Issues with button displays in emails when using MS Outlook 365 have been addressed and resolved.
