Release date: March 4, 2022
We're excited to announce the release of the new software update 3.1.20. This update introduces various enhancements, new features, and fixes for a smoother and more efficient user experience.
Important Notice
The old worker portal's lifecycle is coming to an end. Since December, no new features have been added to it, and now it's time to transition to the new worker view. We understand this change may be challenging for our users, but it's a necessary step forward, especially considering the rise in small device usage.
As the Sinch development team, we truly appreciate the constructive feedback we have received to date. Please keep your comments and insights coming. We carefully consider every message, making necessary adjustments and bug fixes to ensure OnSinch remains an optimal experience for all.
New Attributes System
The attributes system has been entirely rewritten, introducing a new engine for profile, personal, and company attributes. This brings significant advantages for code maintenance and future customization and improvements.
Notably, all attributes can now have customizable blocks, allowing for better organization and customization of worker and company profiles. Furthermore, attributes can now be marked as "mandatory," highlighted with an asterisk (*) in the worker portal. The worker cannot save their profile without completing these fields.
This forms the basis for a more robust worker profile management system. Future plans include administrative approval of profiles based on these mandatory fields and a step-by-step wizard to guide workers in completing their profile.
New Features
- Welcome Message Snippet for Unverified Workers: This allows you to explain your organization's operations and give instructions on completing profiles correctly to new joiners.
- Dashboard Updates: Each widget now has its own configuration, allowing data filtering based on specific parameters. You can add multiple widgets of the same type with different configurations.
- Styling Options for Snippets: These new options ensure a better fit for the new worker portal look and allow the addition of icons to the snippets.
- Appointment Capacity Visibility Control: You can now hide the appointment capacity from your workers. A global setting has also been added in the Agency settings to set this as the default state during appointment creation.
- Italian Payment Method - Ritenuta d'acconto: This is now available to use.
- New Email Notification: Workers will now receive an email notification when they join an appointment. Administrators can configure this email within the Settings.
- Google Tag Manager Code Setting: You now have the ability to set a Google Tag Manager code in Theme settings.
- Full-text Search in Appointment List: We've made finding your appointments easier with a new full-text search feature.
We're confident that these improvements will provide a better, more intuitive user experience. Please don't hesitate to contact our support team if you require any assistance with these updates. We value your feedback and are committed to continuously improving your OnSinch experience.
