New Features

Anonymous feedback from staff members

Staff members can now send an anonymous message from the staff portal, through the user menu on desktop or the menu on mobile. It reaches the people your agency names in the new "Anonymous feedback recipients" setting (Settings, Staff). The email carries no name, email address or any other detail about the sender, and no copy is kept in the sent emails list. The option appears only once at least one recipient is set, and each staff member can send up to 10 messages a day.

Expand or collapse the builder tree

All of the builder trees including the Moving of jobs gain a new tree menu next to Refresh tree. Expand or collapse the entire tree in one click, or show it down to orders, jobs, locations, shifts or positions. With items selected, the menu works on those items only.

CMS pages for selected professions

CMS pages and menu items can now be limited to selected professions. Staff members see a restricted item in their menu, and can open its page, only if they hold at least one of the chosen professions. An item under a restricted parent follows the parent's restriction and can narrow it further, while items without selected professions stay visible to everyone.

Configurable rounding for new ratelists

Rounding in the new ratelists is now yours to define. A new Rounding tab on the ratelists page holds named rounding definitions: a step and a direction (up, down, nearest, or up with a grace period), for hours and for transport distances. The same tab sets the default rounding for pricelists, wagelists and transport lists. Each new ratelist can choose its own rounding, and each rule can override it in the advanced options of its unit. The calculator and the rate composition now show the units before rounding next to the rounded ones (5.82h ≈ 6h), and percentage amounts in full (€14 x 13% = €1.82). Because a changed default applies immediately, you are asked to confirm it first. Your existing "Job hour rounding" setting carries over as the default definition for pricelists and wagelists, keeps serving legacy pricelists, and is hidden once legacy ratelists are turned off.

United Kingdom bank holidays for new ratelists

The new ratelists include a United Kingdom (GB) bank holidays interval, following the bank holidays published on gov.uk. Holidays observed only in some nations are grouped by nation, so you can leave out the nations where you do not operate. A bank holiday falling on a weekend is taken on its substitute day, just as gov.uk lists it. National holidays in every country also got a correction: a day shared by several holidays across different regions now counts once.

Public API

Approve or reject reimbursements

A new endpoint reviews a batch of pending reimbursements at once, just like the admin review dialog. Each reimbursement gets a decision and an optional message for the staff member. An approval can correct the amount and category, pays the reimbursement out to the staff member's wallet, and adds the cost (and optionally a price charged to the client) to the shift's order. The staff member is notified, and the outcome appears on their timeline. Reimbursements without a shift are now paid out with today as their accountable date, and validation messages on the reimbursement endpoints now name the field they refer to.

Faster and stricter timeline audits

Filtering and sorting timeline audits by action and creation date is now much faster. Filter values that do not fit their field, unknown operators and unsupported sort fields now answer with a clear error instead of an empty or unfiltered list. Across all modernised list endpoints, very broad filters no longer run into errors on large data sets, and an empty value on a numeric field once again selects the records without a value.

Stricter sorting parameters

List endpoints now accept only the documented sort fields for each list, and only asc or desc as the direction. Anything else answers with an error instead of being silently ignored.

Staff user profile

The user profile endpoint now returns null for invalid stored dates, consistent with the users list endpoint, while the rest of the response stays the same.

History entries for shifts

Creating or changing shifts through the API now writes a "created via API" or "changed via API" entry to the job and order history, as creating orders and jobs through the API already did.

Improvements

Roomier feedback detail

The feedback detail now shows the text across the full window width, and the feedback list no longer repeats the full text in a tooltip.

Bug Fixes

  • Job builder margins: the margin table loads reliably again on large jobs whose positions use extensive ratelists.
  • Staff profile approval: approving a change of a birth number, bank account or another validated value now explains what is wrong with the value, and staff members see the validation message when they save an invalid value.
  • Statistics: order price and gross profit in company and agency statistics no longer include items and reimbursements of cancelled orders, and shift gross profit no longer subtracts wages of draft positions.
  • Available shifts: staff members without an approved profile now see your agency's own "Available shifts message" CMS snippet, formatting included, instead of a fixed message.
  • Orders to invoice: deleted orders no longer linger on the list, and finishing several orders at once works even if one was deleted in the meantime.
  • CSV export: switching export templates on the order detail, order lists and reimbursements no longer produces an empty file, and saving a new template no longer leaves the dialog loading.
  • Expired sessions: a button or form on a page left open for a long time no longer ends on a "Bad Request" page; the page reappears with a note so the action can simply be repeated.
  • Client portal: changing a confirmed or cancelled shift that uses the new ratelists works again, with rates recalculated once the agency approves the change.
  • Client changes: rejecting one change of a client no longer removes a new location that another pending change still relies on.
  • Staff registration: staff members who registered but have not yet activated their account are no longer removed once an admin has approved them or added them to a shift as an applicant.
  • Staff list filters: the "does not have profession" filter works correctly after removing an earlier filter row, and "not filled" or "exists" filters no longer show a leftover greyed-out value, also for position requirements in the Job builder.
  • Company lists: renamed or deactivated companies now update right away in dashboard widgets, invoices and unallocated payments.
  • Staff profile: a pending change on a staff member whose profile is not yet approved no longer shows the same value twice.
