Improvements
Attendance Payout Method in the Rate Builder
The rate builder condition "Payout method" has been replaced by "Attendance payout method", a single-select condition found under Shift & Position. It checks the payout method assigned to the attendance rather than the methods available in the staff member's profile. The Contract condition is now offered standalone, replacing the removed "Contracts & Payments" category, and the rate calculator works with a single attendance payout method.
Legacy Meal Penalties Removed
The legacy meal penalties feature and its related code have been removed. It was never used and will be replaced by a ratelist unit.
Faster Multi-Shift Selection
Selecting several shifts at once in the job or order builder is considerably faster, most noticeably on large jobs.
Leaner Position and Shift Forms
Opening a position or a shift in the job or order builder now transfers far less data, so the form appears faster, especially on slower connections. The attendance builder no longer downloads requirement settings at all, as it does not use them.
Faster Page Loads
Pages that load job, shift or rate data now open slightly faster.
Faster Staff Calendar Subscriptions
Staff calendar subscriptions (iCal feeds) are much faster to generate and put far less load on the system. A subscribed calendar can now be up to 15 minutes behind the latest change, which is well within how often calendar apps refresh a subscription.
Public API
Faster API Requests
Public API requests are now faster. As part of this change, the "Last used" column on the API keys page is accurate to within a minute rather than to the second.
Bug Fixes
Smoother Long Shift Selections
Selecting many shifts at once in the job or order builder no longer risks slowing the whole application down for everyone while a long selection is being made.
