New Features
Flexible Staff Moves and Standby Tracking in the Closing Form
The Closing form is becoming the single place to finalise a shift, without detours back to the Builder. Previously, moving a standby during closing always created a brand-new position. Now you decide: create a new position, or move the staff member straight into one of the existing ones.
This flexibility is useful even if you never work with standbys. You can move a staff member into a new position directly from the Closing form, with no trip to the Builder, which is invaluable when reality differs from the plan, for instance when a few people start working earlier than expected. You can also move staff freely between existing positions.
Whenever a staff member's booked role changes in the process, the original assignment is now preserved instead of being lost, so standby usage stays visible afterwards. These attendances are flagged with an icon and a clear tooltip that tells the two cases apart: a booked standby who ended up working shows "Working standby", and a booked staff member who ended up on standby shows "Staff member moved to standby". The markers appear on the Closing form, the admin job detail page, the shift detail panel and the shift timeline, giving administrators and crew bosses the full picture at a glance.
This is the first step in a larger plan for the Closing form. Coming next: exporting the original role information, drag-and-drop moves and the ability to edit existing positions (their times, sizes and titles) right there, so admins no longer have to leave the Closing form to adjust a shift.
Staff Position Title in Exports
Position exports now offer a dedicated "Staff position title" column for the staff-only name, while the existing "Position name" field has been renamed to "Public position title" so it is always clear which of the two titles you are exporting. The new column is available across the Attendance overview, every Wallet CSV export (including the legacy one), and the Order price, price-breakdown and attendance exports. Where a column picker exists the staff title is opt-in and switched off by default, and it is never included in client-facing exports.
Improvements
Faster Scheduler
Following performance reports from customers running large, data-heavy schedules, the Scheduler has been reworked to load and render more quickly. The shift and staff cards, their groupings and the time axis are now drawn with a lighter, more efficient rendering approach, so opening the Scheduler and scrolling around it feels noticeably more responsive.
Bug Fixes
- Invited staff members in timesheets: Generated timesheets no longer list invited staff members who have not confirmed the shift, matching the Attendance overview.
- Phone number copied twice: Clicking the phone icon in a staff member's profile now copies the number to the clipboard only once instead of twice.
- Price-quote shifts in bulk add: When bulk-adding staff to shifts and one of the selected shifts belongs to a price-quote order, the shift is now rejected once with a single clear message instead of repeating the same error for every selected staff member. As a first step toward faster large bulk adds, this same change removes a redundant check that previously ran once per staff member, so it now runs only once per shift.
- New job form publishing: Publishing a new job is no longer blocked after a break has been added when changing position time.
