Update 3.2.108: Contract Termination, Staff Titles & Ratelist Enhancements

New Features

Contract Termination with Scheduled Date

Administrators can now terminate contracts with a defined termination date, available for both single and bulk actions directly from the admin interface.

The feature includes:

  • Audit logging of termination actions
  • Automatic staff member email notification
  • Automatic exclusion from validity queries once the termination takes effect

This implementation represents the first step toward a more comprehensive contract termination workflow. The current functionality allows administrators to schedule a termination date and notify the staff member accordingly. A potential next step under consideration is the automatic generation of a termination document that could require an e-signature from the staff member.

 


Staff-Only Position Titles

Positions now support a Staff Title, separate from the public title.

  • Staff Title: Visible only to administrators and staff
  • Public Title: Visible to staff and clients

This allows internal naming conventions without affecting how positions appear externally.


Applicant Dashboard Actions

The Applicants dashboard widget now includes Approve and Decline action buttons.

These actions align the dashboard with the functionality already available on the Applicant list page, allowing administrators to manage applications more quickly from the dashboard.


Public API: Edit Companies

The Public API now supports PATCH requests for Companies, allowing company records to be edited through the API.

This expands integration capabilities for systems that rely on external company data management.


Invoice Payment Totals

The Add Invoice Payments modal now displays totals, giving administrators clearer visibility into payment amounts while processing invoice payments.


New Ratelist Builder Improvements

Two enhancements have been introduced to the ratelist builder calculator:

  • Arrival and departure datetime range fields can now be configured.
  • Ratelists can now be marked as an “instance” default.

These updates add more flexibility when configuring rate calculations.


Inline System Attribute Controls

The System Attributes configuration page has been updated. Instead of navigating to a separate edit page, administrators can now manage Hidden and Mandatory settings using inline toggle switches.


Expanded Ubersearch Display

The ubersearch interface has been expanded to display more information within the results view.


Attendance List Adjustment

The Sign off button is now hidden for cancelled positions in attendance lists.


Staff Availability Filter Clarification

The “Available” filter in the staff list has been renamed to clarify its meaning:

Available = not working and no “Unavailable” entry in the calendar.


Fixes

Builder Visibility Toggle Error

Resolved an issue where toggling visibility for orders, jobs, or shifts that were already hidden or visible in the Builder could trigger an error popup.
