Update 3.1.68: Local Format Addressing, News Feature Update, and Unallocated Payments

We are delighted to announce the release of our software update 3.1.68. This update introduces new features to improve your day-to-day user experience and also addresses a number of issues that were identified in the previous version. Here are the highlights of the release:

New Features

• Localized Address Formats: In order to provide a more intuitive and localized experience, we have added regions (or provinces, states) in the local format of addresses. Now, addresses in Italy will contain a dedicated field for province, addresses in the United States will have a dedicated field for the state, and so on. This applies to all addresses, including those in the profiles of a staff member, company, and in job details.

• News Updates in Staff Member Profile: We have introduced a 'News' list that is received by a staff member in their profile. The date and time when a staff member has confirmed the news will now be stored and displayed, but only if the News has the "Force read" option enabled. Additionally, you can now send News directly to staff members from specific jobs, shifts, or positions.

• Unallocated Company Payments: In an effort to enhance our financial tracking features, we have introduced unallocated payments for a company. This feature allows you to store received payments within a company account without having to assign them to a specific invoice. Essentially, the company has a remaining balance that can be used to cover unpaid invoices, whether they are past due or not yet invoiced. This feature is useful in situations where the admin knows that the company has sent money, but is unsure of the specific invoice to which it belongs, or when there is no invoice yet to be paid.

Bug Fixes

• Invoice Number Issue: We have fixed an error that was occurring with invoices containing a slash in the invoice number.

• Inactive Page Errors: The issues causing strange errors in the staff portal when the page was no longer active have been resolved.
