We're delighted to announce another software update, version 3.1.28. This update introduces new features, optimizes performance, and fixes various bugs that have been identified. Here's a detailed overview of the changes in this release:

New Features

  • Admin Notification for Verified Profiles: To provide more control over updates, we've added a separate profile change notification for admins when workers with verified profiles are added. If you prefer to receive email notifications only about changes within verified profiles, you can utilize this new notification.

3.1.28a

  • Profile Picture Snippet: Workers will now see a new snippet when they upload a new profile picture. This snippet can be used to communicate any specific requirements for profile photos, or you can keep the default text.

3.1.28b

3.1.28c

  • Performance Optimization: To enhance the user experience, we've introduced performance optimizations in job detail pages and the shift closure process. This optimization should notably speed up the shift closure loading time, especially for large shifts.

Bug Fixes

  • Language Support in Calendars: The language support for volunteering languages in calendars now functions as expected.

  • Crew Chief Shift Closure Bonus: Comma inputs in place of dots as separators for the crew chief shift closure bonus are no longer permissible. This change will prevent app crashes from incorrect separator use.

  • Error Handling for File Uploads: We've improved the handling of errors during file uploads in the worker portal. If an error occurs, the app will now show an error message and allow immediate re-upload instead of freezing.

  • Live Attendance Errors: Several errors in the worker live attendance feature have been fixed. These include issues with cancelled positions not showing up, the information about a worker self-booking or being added by an administrator disappearing when moving the worker from or into the standby position, and shifts with one finished position and one that has not started yet disappearing.

  • Worker Profile Rating Limit: An issue that occurred when a worker viewed their profile related to the missing rating limit (when left to the default) in the worker portal has been resolved.

  • Grouping Shifts by Day: Errors associated with grouping shifts by day in the list of available shifts in the worker portal on mobile have been corrected.

  • Display of Missing Mandatory Data: When a worker is missing some mandatory data, all the information about what is missing will now be displayed at once, instead of forcing the worker to fill in one before displaying the next message.

  • Onsite Presence Page Title: We have renamed the onsite presence page title for better clarity. It used to be "Workers," which was ambiguous.

  • Loader for Worker Portal Profile Form Submit Button: A proper loader has been added to the worker portal profile form submit button to better indicate when a request is being processed.
