Update 3.1.26: Streamlined Worker Communication and Order Copying

We are excited to announce the release of version 3.1.26, packed with a series of new features and bug fixes aimed at enhancing your user experience. Below are the details of the updates.

New Features

  • Prioritized Welcome Message: To provide crucial information upfront, the "Welcome message for unapproved workers" CMS snippet will now be the first item displayed on the worker dashboard. This enables new users to access vital details before viewing other cards, like missing mandatory data in their profile.

  • Prominent Provisional Order Notification: A snippet informing workers about a shift being part of a provisional order will now be prominently displayed above all other snippets, ensuring that critical information is immediately noticeable.

  • Enhanced Dashboard Filters: The dashboard widgets that list orders and shifts now feature a filter for assigned agency invoice addresses. This addition can be particularly useful if your agency maintains multiple invoice addresses with different sets of orders and/or clients.

  • Order Copies Include Cancelled Shifts: Copies of an entire order will now include cancelled shifts. This allows for easy restoration of these shifts in the copied order, useful especially for orders with predefined weekly structures where specific shifts may have been cancelled. Cancelled shifts will not be published or appear anywhere else except in the specific job detail for the admin. If not needed, these can be manually deleted.

Bug Fixes

  • User Role Error Handling: In cases where a logged-in user has no role, the application will no longer crash. Instead, it will redirect the user back to the home page with a detailed explanation.

  • Correct Downloaded Attachment Filenames: The attachments downloaded from timeline comments will now have a normal filename with an extension.

  • Refined Worker Dashboard: On the worker dashboard, pending applicants for a worker will now only be displayed for upcoming shifts, preventing clutter from past shifts where the applicant has neither been refused nor accepted.

  • Localization Bug Fixes: Minor bugs in localizations within the worker portal have been addressed. These include short titles of the day always appearing in the default agency language, volunteer language versions not showing up in the worker profile dropdown, and calendars always being in English across all volunteer language versions.

  • Performance Optimizations: We have implemented a series of minor hot-fixes and performance optimizations to stabilize the application's functionality.
