Update 3.0.123: Streamlined Admin Work with New Inventory & Custom Categories

We're excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our software - the new Inventory Items Module in Sinch.

With the Inventory Items Module, adding custom invoice items to orders becomes a breeze. This feature is especially beneficial for those who frequently incorporate similar items into their orders, like transportation or equipment fees. The module allows users to predefine these items as "templates." For instance, setting up transportation costs for travel by car or van becomes much more streamlined.

When creating an order, you simply select the preset inventory item and indicate the number of units, such as the distance traveled in kilometers. This tool is not only a time-saver for admins but also ensures consistency across all invoices and billing, thereby minimizing human errors.

New Features

  • Customizable Appointment Categories: We've revamped our appointment categories (previously termed as 'types'). Now, you have the flexibility to configure the categories that best fit your needs. This change has unlinked the interval-based appointment (where workers attend within a specific timeframe, like 10 minutes apart) from the type "Payout". Instead, you now have an option to toggle intervals on or off directly within the appointment settings.

  • Age Requirement Integration: Our basic requirements have been expanded to include age criteria. If certain jobs require workers to meet a specific age requirement at the time of their shift, you can now easily set this up.

  • Emergency Notifications for Price Quotes: We've introduced a notification feature for price quotes nearing their commencement. Admins can now receive email alerts about these upcoming price quotes. These will also be prominently displayed on the dashboard. This feature is designed to help avoid oversight related to price quotes, ensuring they are converted into real orders or archived if no longer needed.

Minor Fixes

  • Language Refinement: We've undertaken a comprehensive review of our platform's language and have made adjustments to make Sinch's communications clearer and more user-friendly.
