Introducing New Confirmation Requests

Want to know if your staff are still counting on their shifts—even after last-minute changes? With OnSinch’s new Confirmation Request feature, you’ll always have a clear answer. Confirmation Requests let you quickly prompt staff to acknowledge key updates, so no one’s left out of the loop.

You can use them before major events, to confirm staff readiness or after shift edits, to prevent scheduling conflicts. Admins can send these messages via email, push notification, or SMS, and workers confirm receipt directly in OnSinch.

How it works:

  • A pending orange envelope icon appears until the message is confirmed.

  • Once acknowledged, the icon turns green for instant visual feedback.

You’ll always know who’s seen what—and who hasn’t.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see who hasn’t confirmed a message yet?

Yes. Pending confirmations are clearly marked with an orange envelope icon. You can track these directly from the shift detail, order view, or with a dedicated dashboard widget.

What channels can I use to send confirmation requests?

You can send confirmation requests via email, push notification, or SMS. Note that SMS must be set up separately before use.

Will staff be notified if they forget to confirm a message?

While there’s no automatic reminder (yet), admins can easily follow up manually with anyone who hasn’t confirmed, using the visual status indicators.

Does this feature work on mobile?

Absolutely. Staff can receive and confirm messages directly through the OnSinch mobile app, just like any other notification.
